Hi, I’m Ningtao :)

I'm a UX designer, graduating from MS "Digital Communications and Multimedia" program at the University of Washington in March 2023. I have experiences in Web/mobile design, Marketing, E-commerce, and Media Group.
The reason why I love design is because of the impact it can exert on people. We as designers hold the power to shape people’s lives and experience by the products they interact with. While being fascinated with all aspects of User Experience design, I specialize in user research, UI design and design thinking. As a highly-motivated **problem solver** and systems-thinker, I focus on creating engaging, intuitive and delightful experiences.

What am I like outside of work? I'm glad you asked.

👩‍🍳 An amateur cook.

What I love most about cooking is the chance to be creative. It allows experimentation with different spices, cuisines, and techniques, enabling me to learn about different cultures and cuisines.

Here are three of my recent favorite dishes:

Paella, a rice dish in Spanish cuisine
T-bone steak
Sauerkraut fish, a Chinese Chuan cuisine

🤩 An elegant aesthete.

Art gallery is a must-go when I go to a city. Different galleries provides windows to the past of art and human lives through different periods. My theory of aesthetics abides by the tenet, "Nothing better than natural beauty."

🏝️ A travel junkie.

I love traveling especially viewing natural wonder like deserts, glaciers, virgin forests, etc. It is a way to go away from the armored concrete forest in the city. I really enjoy the status of "always on the way".
